Therefore cloning the BR to the kernel and blocking the partman issue with that. The issue has been worked around in partman-base (function humandev in definitions.sh) by adding code that recognizes .../lun0/part (without partition number) as a disk; leaving partman bug open as the workaround should be removed once the kernel bug is fixed.
