Bug#406431: debian-installer-manual: Document how to enable the use of SATA optical drives
Package: debian-installer-manual

Could the information at
http://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/SataAtapiHowto be added to the
manual? I'm suggesting as a new section under 5.3. Something like:
5.3.x SATA ATAPI optical drive detection
The kernel shipped with Debian does not detect SATA ATAPI devices such
as optical drives by default. If you have such a device, use the kernel
parameter 'libata.atapi_enabled=1' and your drive should be detected.
