Bug#406008: Installation Report - etch RC1 on Fujitsu-Siemens MS-6309
This is probably not in the domain of the installer but I'm not sure
where to report this.
Following the installation, I assigned a static IP address on the LAN to set
the box up as a server. All works fine.
However, if I pull the power supply and plug it back in, the machine
recovers fine except that eth0 doesn't come up; if I reboot the machine
eth0 comes up fine and ifconfig shows everything as normal.
After the reboot 'tail dmesg' shows:
EXT3 FS on dm-1, internal journal
EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.
kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds
EXT3 FS on dm-2, internal journal
EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.
Adding 2330616k swap on /dev/mapper/Saturn-swap_1. Priority:-1
extents:1 across:2330616k
eth0: link up, 100Mbps, full-duplex, lpa 0x45E1
NET: Registered protocol family 10
lo: Disabled Privacy Extensions
IPv6 over IPv4 tunneling driver
After the power interruption 'tail dmesg.0' shows:
kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds
EXT3 FS on dm-4, internal journal
EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.

Can you suggest anything I could try?
Thanks
Clive
