Problem: The system reboots (unable to boot into Debian etch).

Repeatable: YES ( minimum install CD 1x, CD + internet install 3x )

System layout: hde1 - Mandrake 10.0
                            hde6 - Debian Sarge
                            hdg1 - Windows XP
hdh1 - I would like it to be Debian Etch RC1

Description: I use lilo on hde1 as the primary bootloader. From here
I point to one of the four OS's listed above.
Before RC1 I worked with beta 2 and 3 images on
hdh1 and they worked very well.
Selecting debian etch from the lilo menu, gives
me a message "..GRUB.." at the top of the screen for
less then a second. After that the system
reboots directly.

If you need more info, just tell me what you need and I will try to sent it.
TIA.

regards,
Willem Weide

Yes, that is what lilo already does as well.
