tags 283521 patch thanks Hi, IMHO "* update pointer to manual in syslinux text (http://bugs.debian.org/283521 )" should be added to http://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/LennyGoals And if #283521 is fixed by pointing to http://www.debian.org/doc/ - the first link on that points to http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/installmanual - Three years ago I thought it was better to point to the installation manual. Today I think it's better to point to _the_ page about documentation for Debian. For which http://www.debian.org/doc/ IMO qualifies. (That page could certainly be improved, but that's another issue. And IMO it's better to point to that page than to the generic www.debian.org.) And yet another issue is that according to a quick grep only two out of ten architectures display information about www.debian.org at all... If you agree with this generic approach to link to the documentation I'm volunteering to go through all architectures boot messages and suge a paragrah. Also if we agree on another way :-) regards, Holger
