Package: base-installer Version: 20040616 Severity: normal If the 2.6 kernel was used for installation, then the 2.4 kernel should probably not be an option for the final system. Otherwise it's possible that the user is left without a working system, if hardware required a 2.6 kernel. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (600, 'testing'), (98, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.6-1-k7 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 -- Please do not CC me when replying to lists; I read them! .''`. martin f. krafft <madduck@debian.org> : :' : proud Debian developer, admin, and user `. `'` `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing a system Invalid/expired PGP subkeys? Recent versions of the debian-installer only installs 2.6 kernels, I am thus closing this bug report.
