Comments/Problems:

<Description of the install, in prose, and any thoughts, comments
      and ideas you had during the initial install.>

- Configure /etc/network/inerfaces and you are online;
- Detect the wrong vga card (apm instead of ati);
- Detect the wrong sound card (trident instead of ali5451);
- The alsa package is kernel 2.4.25 and the installed kernel is 2.4.26;

Install logs and other status info is available in /var/log/debian-installer/.

Well, you did not say if I should attach those logs...
I guess I should not (almost 1 MB) =]

Hi,

current xserver-xorg.postinst has the following code:
    if [ "$ARCH" = "powerpc" ] && \
        [ -e /proc/sys/dev/mac_hid/keyboard_sends_linux_keycodes ] && \
        [ "$(cat /proc/sys/dev/mac_hid/keyboard_sends_linux_keycodes)" = "0" ]; then
      XKBMODEL=macintosh_old
    else
      XKBMODEL=pc105
    fi

AIUI, that's what this bug was about, so I'm closing it.

Cheers,
Julien
