Yes, there is an issue with the keymap:
I choose
language: german
area: Germany
keymap: german
and the german de_DE keymap is not active (z and y are swapped,
umlauts don't work).
I wanted to find out what happens in the background, but:
1. I wasn't able to switch to a virtual text console
(with Strg-Alt-F2 for example). No text console
2. then I wanted to use function "save debug logs",
I choose "mounted filesystem" and then complete system
hung up.
3. I missed the entry in the main-menu "Start a shell"
Where is it gone?
So I cannot give info, if the keymap is loaded but damaged or
something like this, or if it isn't actually loaded.
Another observation:
when installation is started with expertgui, german keymap
works!
This all was with an netinst image downloaded today, 07.06.2007
