Comments/Problems:

The installer did not detect the hard drive connected to the PATA port
of the Promise Fasttrack 376 onboard controller (empty hard drive for
linux). However, the hard drive connected to the SATA port was
detected by libata (win xp hard drive).

OK. In that case it will likely be fixed with a new kernel and we can 
close this report as it is not an issue in the installer itself.
