I agree with this, it would be more consistent.
I can offer a possible explanation for its current position (but I am just 
guessing). You can also move to a menu item by pressing it's first 
letter. As there are several options starting with "d", having "Done" 
first means that pressing "d" will move you to that item.

I agree with this as well. The reason it is in the other part of the menu 
is that the option originally was just "Size: xxxx" (with resizing 
basically being "changing the current size"), which fit better in the top 
half.

Please file a wishlist bug report against partman-base for this.
