Sarge is known to have very limited support for SATA and for current 
hardware in general. Please try the Etch installer from [1] instead.

Next time you file an installation-report, please use the template linked 
from the same page and provide the requested info.

Closing this report. Feel free to file a new one after trying the Etch 
installer.
