Comments/Problems:
I had an installer image using the businesscard ISO on a USB stick, which
used to work fine and which I am about to use to do a fully-automated
install for a small Beowulf cluster. Unfortunately, the key expiry
problem (now) kills the installation when attempting to install the
lvm2-common and lvm2 packages.
Therefore I updated my installer with the daily build of the businesscard
ISO and obtained the result above, because there are no kernel modules
available to be loaded. I presume this is because the boot kernel doesn't
match the ISO image...
The documentation on alioth is not as helpful as it might be: for
instance, it says on
http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/en.i386/ch04s04.html
to copy vmlinuz and initrd.gz, but not where from!
I plan to try those from the ISO first, and failing that those from the
hd-media boot image (which won't fit on my USB stick).
I understand why the packages are signed, but my experince has been that
this causes nothing but grief...
I'll send a new installation report when the installer is working.
By the way, Debian is in general excellent, and thanks for all the effort
you spend making it so.

Correct. The hd-media images and the CD image have to "match".
At the moment that means that you can use hd-media images from [1]
together with any CD image available from the same page.
After RC2 will be released, you will need RC2 hd-media images together
with both RC2 and weekly CD images.

Not really. There are just a few initial issues and timing problems, such
as can be expected with any change to a new system.
