I can reproduce this. yaboot-installer uses 'user-params' to determine
extra boot parameters.
After booting with 'tasks="standard, kde-desktop", running user-params
gives the following result:
# user-params
kde-desktop"
Thanks for reporting this issue and good to hear that the installation was
otherwise OK.
