It could be that the main issue here is that our detection mechanism does not support LVM yet. I'm not completely sure about that. Let's concentrate on this issue. Could you send us the original grub (?) configuration for FC4? Also, what is the output of the following commands if you run them from VT2 in the installer (you can boot the installer in rescue mode for this, no need to actually reinstall): - 'os-prober' - 'linux-boot-prober /dev/XXX' (the partition you have FC4 on) Cheers, FJP
