Custom Kernel in DI, but How to Install It?

Hello -

I got some hardware (a 3Ware RAID card) this is supported in 2.6.19.
Following http://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/Modify/CustomKernel I
built a custom mini CD with this kernel. It now boots fine and I can go
through the installation process. However, as you might guess, the
installer wants to install a 2.6.18 kernel and doesn't appear to give me
the option of using the one I built in for DI. I don't see anything in any
manuals, FAQ, or wikis about this issue. Running the install in expert
mode doesn't seem to give me any such options.

Any ideas what I can do?

Also, it would be nice if
http://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/Modify/CustomKernel mentioned this
issue. I suspect that I'm not alone.

Thanks,

           Bill
