Comments/Problems:

With the tasksel installation "Desktop-Umgebung", there is only Gnome installed.
When I want to use KDE, it is necessary, to install KDE outside of "tasksel".
This is not good.
With Debian 3.1r1 "Sarge", the KDE is installed, too.

There is only the kernel-image for 486er Systems installed.
It is better to autodetect the processor and then install the optimized
kernel (for me, the K7 kernel image).

Otherwise: The installation was succesfull :)

This is because the packages have grown too big to be able to include both
on one CD any longer. There are however separate CDs available that will
install KDE.

I think you must have used the netinst CD. With any other installation
method you would have gotten the correct kernel.

As there were no real issues, I'm closing your report. Thank you very much
for submitting it.

Cheers,
