Bug#367861: installation-guide using-d-i

tags 367861 + pending
thanks

Hi Clytie,

An old one, but that is what you get if you make them so long ;-)

I've made changes based on most of your suggestions, but in some cases I
prefer the original text. In quite a few cases I've done more of a
rewrite than commit the changes your suggested.

Some comments below.

Thanks for the critical eye.

Cheers,
FJP

Hmm. Doesn't benefit already imply a gain?
I've done: "What benefits this brings depends..."

I've removed one section level here.

n probably is a number; users familiar with the IA-64 architecture will
know what it means. I'm generally a lot less critical about technical
terms and not explaining enough when it comes to non-x86 (and to a lesser
extend powerpc) architectures.

The poor user that does not know what an IPL is, has no business
installing an S/390 mainframe (even if it is the hercules emulator :-)
I've kept IPL.

No, but that is how it is shown when you select the module for
installation during "install additional components": udeb name + package
description. I don't think it will be translated either...
