Etch installer not asking for additional CDs
Dear All,
The new etch is really fantastic. As part of my FOSS promotion
activities I give full 16set CDs to serveral schools, colleges and
others like homeusers/doctors especially in places where net
connectivy is not there/is very poor. Biggest strength of debian is
the collection of packages. However, present etch installer doesn't
ask for additional cds during installer unlike sarge. I have to ask
rank newbies to go to shell and use apt-cdrom add. This is difficult
with people new to linux.
I wish the etch installer team restores this facility for the poor
folks without net connectivity.
