Could you try adding a line with 'set -x' at the top of /lib/partman/definitions.sh _before_ you start partitioning your drive and try to reproduce the error? That should give us an almost complete debug log of partman. After that, please send the syslog from the install (gzipped as it will be huge!). I'd also suggest running the menu option "Save logs" before partitioning (but after network setup) and start the webserver there. You may want to boot the installer with "priority=medium" for this. Please also provide the /etc/fstab for your current installed system. TIA, FJP
