Package: grub-installer
Version: 0.32
Severity: wishlist

GRUB fails because it attempts to read at a linear block address
beyond the end of the BIOS translated area (stage 1.5, error 18).
I wish grub-installer would detect this situation and install LILO
(which works) instead.

Hello,

After a talk with Frans during Debconf6 (yes, long time ago) we
figured about some bugs that aren't suppose to be close and this are
one of them.

I'm closing it but if you disagree please reopen it and we'll be able
to discuss it again.
