I've looked through that thread and the only things I can get from the syslogs included is the following problem: | apt-install: WARNING: The following packages cannot be authenticated! This seems to indicate a problem with the mirror that is used, but that message would be unexpected when using a netinst CD. Is this problem still reproducible when using a daily built image from http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/ ? Is it possible to get the full syslog from the original installation (if the installation was completed it could still be availabe as /var/log/installer/syslog), or else from a new attempt? We would need that for the exact error messages. The syslog can be saved during the installation (after the failure occurred) by using the "Save logs" option in the installer's main menu. It would be best if the installation could be done in English. Cheers, FJP
