This is expected behavior with preseeding as the question is marked as 
seen. You are supposed to make sure your environment is "clean" and 
working when using preseeding.
When an error occurs during a preseeded install, the only method 
to "recover" that is guaranteed to work is: abort the install, fix the 
error and retry.

However, in this case I guess we could "reset" the questions in case of an 
error so that they will be asked and current values can be changed.
This is a low priority issue though.
