Could you please try again with a current daily image? We added the
usbmouse module to the installer and that may well fix this problem.
If it does not work initially, please switch to VT2 (using ctrl-alt-F2)
and check if 'lsmod' shows usbmouse loaded. If it is not loaded, please
try 'modprobe usbmouse' and check if the mouse works after that.
