Yes, I also think that is strange
(Yes, I have no resources avaialbe to find out why ... )

What happend after reboot in your new Debian GNU/Linux system?
(Is eth1 the ethernet network interface you use?)

Noticed. At least your message is seen.
But what is the point? Or what is the problem?
Is somewhere document that the boot option 'vga=791' has to be used?
In other words: Can we improve the Debian-installer?

I have seen simular reports. I, stappers, have no clue about the status
of it. Which means I don't known _if_ and when it will be fixed.

A M.T.A. is installed for the operating system.
Example given: Cron being able to send E-mail to the cronjob owner.
