Package: debian-installer Version: Beta 3 Severity: normal Hello, The release notes of Beta 3 don't mention some like | d-i does send a identifiable DHCP request (vendor class is set to "d-i") | and from the DHCP answers uses d-i the filename as URL to the preseed | file. With 'preseed/run' you can even set a static IP-address. It is value information for large quantity users. Please added the release notes. Cheers Geert Stappers

Closing this since fjp doesn't want to retroactively add it to the release notes. (This is not the right package for the release notes either.) -- see shy joAttachment: signature.asc
