(the above mentioned bug being #365308)Excellent, the fix for #379737 (adding UTF8 support to cryptsetup initramfs scripts) has been committed to SVN and will be included in the next release sometime this week. This in turn means that #381960 (UTF8 problems with partman-crypto) can be closed soon.
