Okay, in that case, I strongly disagree. That would be like saying
the efforts to get it working until now are worthless. The individual
behind debian-installer has already kicked out Sven without any
concern for the PowerPC port well being.

There is already an alternative installer planed once etch is released, which will contain fixes for all those issues the d-i team left dying on the
road-side.

all those powerpc issues.
