Hi!
I tried installing Debian 4.0 beta3 using the ISO for installation
via network on my Dell Inspiron 8000, which hosted already various
Linux distro the last 6 years.
- Using default installation it went well, but it failed just after
download the packages with the a red screen Failed at "Selection of
software." (sorry, not sure anymore about the exact message, was tired).
- I tried the GUI install then. When trying to get the LVM going,
which I setup in first part, I somehow could not continue. It always
looped back even tough I say 'Finished'.
- Also, in the GUI intall, I could not choose a country under the
continents.
Hope this not-so-detailed report helps. I've put my old machine away
again :)

Your doubt is legimate.
The not-so-detailed-report is _not_ helpfull.
As you wrote 'have put my old machine away' I don't expect further
information, so I'm closing this bugreport.
Feel free to write a (better) bugreport.

P.S.
I think that "Failed at Selection of software" was a glitch during
download due whatever reason.
