Comments/Problems:
There are simply no Driver Modules for my Areca ACR-1210 RAID Controller on Board. I've tried an inofficial installer from http://www.tienhuis.nl/areca/ but it won't work too. I know the ascmsr Modul is still not included in offical Kernel, but there are many many Servers with this controllers. May be an Idea to use parts of the code from the -mm Kernel Tree (especialy for my controller ;-).

I am very sorry, but this is not something the Debian Installer team can
influence.
The Debian Kernel team decides on policy regarding what drivers to support
in the Debian kernels and that policy is to not support drivers unless
they have been accepted into the main upstream kernel tree. In
exceptional cases they may backport a driver or patches.

Please contact the kernel team directly if you think you can convince them
to change their policy or that an exception should be made for your
driver.

Closing your installation report as there are no d-i related issues.

Cheers,
FJP
