What version of the OBP firmware does your system have? I have no problems on my own Ultra 10 with 'OBP 3.31.0 2001/07/25 20:36'. (I tried the netinst yesterday.) How much memory does it have? Can you also send the output of lspci and prtconf when run with a 2.4 kernel?
