Hi Having completed a successful base installation, I thought I'd add X etc. Everytime I install stuff it asks for the disk. Commenting out the cdrom in the sources.list makes it OK. However, a newcomer to Debian may take a while to work it out. I guess only installing the base system missed the step which removed the cdrom from the sources.list?
