Xfbdev without keyboard support -VT_GETMODE failed error



Hi
anybody knows how to run Xfbdev without keyboard support on a arm based PDA,I compiled for xkdrive.
when I try to run I am getting a error:
fatal server error:
xf86OpenConsoleInit: VT_GETMODE failed
