No, looks good. The only thing is upload/release timing.

Probably the best thing to do is after committing the changes, first 
upload only partman-base and only after that's been built for all 
architectures upload the other components (with updated versioned 
dependency on partman-base and a "needs ..." comment in the changelog).

I've checked that when there is a function in both definitions.sh and the 
script itself, the version in the script itself will be executed, so 
having both with the same name temporarily should not be a problem.
