Bug#365101: debian-installer: No support for initrd-based kernels (stable!)

Package: debian-installer
Severity: normal

When trying to use the installer build 20060318 to install "stable", the
base-installation fails after selecting the kernel. While the kernel
requires initrd-tools, only initramfs-tools and yaird are considered and
base-installation fails. Installing a kernel by hand does not help as
the installer still complains about the missing base-installation
step... Only solution seems to be installing testing.
