Package: debian-installer
Severity: normal

During the installation, the installer asks for an online repository. I selected ftp.de.debian.org (from Germany). After that selection, I was presented the list of the following three possibilities:
stable, testing, unstable
As I am going to install Sid, I selected "unstable" which gives an error later when I wanted to "Install base system". Only "testing" works.

I was using the netinst ISO from 2006-04-20.

Best regards

This is because you were using the netinst CD which actually can only
install testing. This will be fixed in the future and the netinst CD
won't anymor epropose choosing branches that it can't install.

To be able to install Sid, you need to use either a netboot image (a
5Mb image) or a businesscard image
