Comments/Problems:
<Description of the install, in prose, and any thoughts, comments
and ideas you had during the initial install.>
Everything went well except the install of GRUB to the root partition. I have
had this problem installing GRUB with every Debian install I've done (using
the new installer). The initial attempt always fails. I can go back and
re-select 'install GRUB' and it will work fine the second time...installs
fine.
I would like to see a change on the 'Install the base packages' page. I would
like to see more information shown as to what is going on...info such as is
shown when using 'wget' or 'apt-get'...ie...name of package, # of bytes in
the package, # of bytes downloaded as the download proceeds, and the speed of
the download.
I do like the fact that the 'Install the base packages' routine is downloading
from the internet rather than the CD...getting the latest packages.
