Andreas, From your discussion with Sven Luther in this bug, it seems to me that you agreed that your initial suggestion is unneeded. I you confirm this, we will close the bug report...otherwise we'll apply the patch as it probably doesn't hurt anyway to build kbd-chooser on ppc64... --
