Partitions: /dev/sda1 with Windows XP; /dev/sdb1 with SUSE 9.3 (to be
replaced by Debian).

Output of lspci and lspci -n: Not available

Comments/Problems:

All worked as expected (as usual for Debian - really well) until
the 'Partition Discs' screen which showed only 'Manually edit
partition table'. Selecting this offered the options 'Configure
software RAID', 'Configure the LVM', 'Guided partitioning', and
'Help on partitioning'. Selecting 'Guided partitioning offers
only 'Manually edit partition table', which when selected returns
to the 'Partition disks' screen.
The error message shown on tty4 is 'partman: No volume groups found'.
volumes found.
