As listed on http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/ (news section),
Beta1 images are no longer supported.
Please try your install again using a daily built image, which will soon
become Beta2. If you can reproduce the same problem with that image we
will take a look.
Please also include the relevant section (where kernel selection takes
place) from the syslog of the installer.
Which kernel is selected as default when you install at medium priority?
Is that the correct kernel for your hardware?
