Comments/Problems:
Looks like installation will succeed IF the sbp2 module can be make to work.
Unfortunately, the spb2 module cannot be loaded due to an error.
The start of installation went fine. I set the input-device and output-device
to scca, devalias'd 'cd' to the external firewire drive and did
0 > boot cd:,\install\yaboot
At the boot prompt, I specified the install64 option:
boot: install64 video=ofonly console=ttyS0,57600
Installation started, got all the way up to the point of finding the cd,
but then could not find the cd. I went into a shell and tried to load the
sbp2 module by hand but got the following error:
~ # modprobe sbp2
Using /lib/modules/2.6.12-1-powerpc64/kernel/drivers/ieee1394/ieee1394.ko
Using /lib/modules/2.6.12-1-powerpc64/kernel/drivers/ieee1394/sbp2.ko
insmod: cannot insert `/lib/modules/2.6.12-1-powerpc64/kernel/drivers/ieee1394/sbp2.ko': Unknown symbol in module (-1): No such file or directory
modprobe: failed to load module sbp2
