Bug#353573: partman: [hppa] 'PALO' partition on /dev/sda changed to 'linux' during install to /dev/sdc

Package: partman-base
Version: 78

During an install on hppa using partman-auto, I noticed that the partition
table for /dev/sda was going to be modified even though I was installing
to /dev/sdc. After rebooting I discovered that the type of the first
partition (/dev/sda1) had been changed from F0 (Linux/PA-RISC boot) to 83
(Linux).

I'm not sure if this would have happened too if I'd used manual
partitioning instead of guided partitioning.

The cause could be that the partition type is not recognized:
parted_server: OUT: 1 32256-32901119 32868864 primary unknown
               /dev/scsi/host1/bus0/target3/lun0/part1
