Hi, Your two other options are based on specifying some arbitrary values to get_hostname and get_domain. You can add "netcfg/get_hostname=x netcfg/get_domain=x" to your kernel arguments (iirc). Alternatively, you can add d-i netcfg/get_hostname string x d-i netcfg/get_domain string x to the file preseed.cfg inside your initial ramdisk, typically called initrd.gz.
