Bug#319173: installation: kind of mojibake for certain japanese kanji
Package: installation
Severity: normal
I have installed all the japanese fonts. Most of the kanji looks good but some
of them are displayed as a small box with numbers/letter inside (I guess this
is their code).
Why a kanji is displayed like this is rather weird : if I look for "deai"
(encounter) in gjiten, in the first match "ai" is written as a box with "4F1A"
inside and in the second match it is written properly.
I tried to enable all the japanese locales but with no success.
This bug affects all the apps I have tried (konqueror, mozilla and the like).
