sarge Install fails because of a kernel panic.

I'm trying to install the latest march release of Debian on my new
Apple Powermac G5 2x2.7ghz with 1GB... I downloaded the latest sarge release
but it still fails.. I've tried all options...

The screens blanks out with text 2 times then starts to load devices then it crashes after this line everytime.. This is consistent with every linux distro for
PowerMac G5

Task "swapper" thread c000000003efa0000 CPU: 1

Does this look familiar to anyone? I looked threw the bugs but I did not see any that look like
this..

Same issue with gentoo distro, fixed/addressed with 2.6.12-rc5 kernel update.
See gentoo bug: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94263

Thanks for anyhelp you can provide..
