Package: install
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system

At some point in the last few weeks, Debian-installer has started
installing the s390x kernel on s390 systems; I noticed this today, 22
December; this is the first system I have installed since the 17
December 2005 3.1r1 release, so I suspect that to be the culprit.

An s390x kernel does not boot on an s390 system. Thus this keeps the
system from being bootable at all.

I am attempting to install Sarge on a 64MB virtual machine under z/VM
4.4, using a Hipersocket Guest LAN. This report is being generated on a
different virtual machine.

Ok, good.. since the current code seems to go out of its way to avoid
ever installing an s390x kernel, I was having a hard time figuring out
how it could..
