There is a new daily build available for i386 [1] that has an update of fonts used in the graphical installer: - FreeFont udeb has been temporarily disabled in favor of a tarball containing only the FreeSans fonts, stripped to a bare minimum; FreeSans now covers only Latin, Greek and Hebrew - Kenshi's ttf-compact-fonts is used for CJK - ttf-dejavu is now used for Cyrillic script - MuktiNarrow has been added for Bengali These changes have also significantly reduced the size of the initrd. There looks to be a problem with the new FreeFont ttf files, as reported in [2]. This prevents FreeFont from being used for Bengali, but OTOH opinions seem divided which is best anyway (MuktiNarrow looks better readable to my untrained eyes. This build also has the new screenshot feature, although the packages for that have not yet been uploaded. We will try to post some screenshots soon for various languages, but if you can, please try the new image and give us your feedback.
