Well, with this information it would be possible to have the card
automatically supported _if_ the driver needed for the card is available
in the standard kernel. However, from your earlier message I understand
it is not.

If the C54RC is supported by a standard module, please let us know which
module it needs by replying to this message and we can reopen the report.

The module that C54RC needs to work is 'rt2500' (takes the name from the chipset: Ralink 2500).
This module project is hosted by sourceforge at http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com
Module was not installed on my kernel. I installed it from sources to
my kernel, following instructions of 'serialmonkey' webpage for Debian
users.
In other way, last time I forgot to tell you that the debian-installer
of the 14, December 2005 crashes when you are writing the normal user
name _if you use_ some characters as 'ñ' or tildes. So, spanish users
(like me :)) can't write their names correctly. The crash can be solved
by selecting the "back" option and writing the name with only standard
english characters.
