Hi,

starting with Sarge CD at boot i've insert "expert vga=792"...
during lilo installation process, debian-installer inserts an incorrect line in lilo.conf taking arguments from boot kernel options

append="vga=792"

this cause lilo crash

This is a known error that has been fixed after the release of Sarge in=20
version 1.08 of lilo-installer:
=2D Grep "vga=3D" out of user-params, since lilo does not like this in
  append lines. Closes: #300206, #277664
=2D Make vga=3D line in lilo.conf be taken from user-params if set in there.

Therefore closing your bug report.
