Comments/Problems:

SATA Disks are not found.
The chipset is ATI RX480, to support SATA drives (ATI4379, ATI437A) and IDE drives
CD-ROM is IDE, Disks are SATA
BIOS is set to handle SATA as IDE (other alternative is 'RAID')
Hard disks are not detected, whatever method gets used:
- Normal
- Expert, selecting only 'ide-generic', 'idecd', 'isofs' at CD detection stage

The Expert mode provides a list of modules to try to detect disks but none of them seems to work

No idea to go forward.
