I attepmted expert install, same problem in the base system phase.  I attempted with 2.4 kernel and 2.6 kernel.

This is a known issue listed on [1] (see 19 Oct). Please try again after=20
this issue is resolved.

free to file a new installation report after you have tried with a new=20
image.
